CAMERAMEN TO JUDGE RACES AT I, C, 4-A, MEET TOMORROW

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Moving picture cameras at the finish line of the trial races for the Intercollegiate track meet in the Stadium tomorrow afternoon will be used to help the judges at finish pick the men who are to compete in the final races on Saturday.

Films will be taken of every finish on the program tomorrow. Should there be any dispute over the decisions made by the officials, the pictures will be developed overnight and exhibited to the officials and the disputing contestants in the Varsity Club on Saturday morning. If the judgment of the officials is found to have been in error, the finishes will be rejudged from the moving pictures, and the men who qualify at the Varsity Club will replace the men who were declared to have qualified in the Stadium, the day before, in the final races on Saturday. According to Mr. Gustavus T. Kirby, referee of the meet, this is probably the first time that such an arrangement has been employed at championship races in America.
