The University cricket team will play its first regular game of the season with the Mohair Cricket Club at Lowell this afternoon at 2 o'clock. The game with the Everett Cricket Club, scheduled for last Saturday, was cancelled on account of the recess. The University team will probably be composed of the following men: C. H. Carter, J. P. Morris, R. Gummere, W. N. Taylor, Trainer, LeR. King, Dougherty, Gittens, Spiers, Stairs, Cadbury, L. Tilney, and F. C. Taylor.

The practice thus far has consisted of bowling and batting under the direction of W. N. Taylor '03 in the basement of the Gymnasium. The new men are showing up well, and the team is materially stronger than that of last year. Four of the players, Gummere, Spiers, Cadbury, and Morris, were members of the Haverford team which won the intercollegiate cricket championship in 1902, and tied for the championship with Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania last year. By the rules of the Intercollegiate Cricket Association, the one year residence rule does not apply to cricket.

A second team schedule is being arranged.
