THE Steward of Memorial Hall wishes all those who intend to remain in Cambridge during the vacation to give him notice. The hall cannot be kept open unless at least one hundred and fifty students board there.

STEWART SHILLITO, Treasurer.THE second edition of Shakspere printed in this country appeared in 1807. The list of subscribers shows an extraordinary interest in Shakspere among the students in various New England colleges. At Harvard there were no less than ninety-seven copies taken, the names of Edward Everett and Richard H. Dana being among the subscribers. At Brown University twenty-eight were taken, at Dartmouth seven, and at Union seventeen.
H. R. C. A battalion dress parade of this corps will be held at the Gymnasium, on Monday the 10th inst, at 6.30 P. M. The parade will be commanded by General Lister, military instructor. The Sophomore company, Captain Bradley commanding, will take the right, and the Freshman company, Captain Clark commanding, the left of the line. To make this parade a success, a full attendance of the members of the corps is required, and drummers willing to assist are requested to leave their names at the office of the Gymnasium as early on Monday as possible.
THE annual O. K. dinner will take place probably some time in January.
MR. Herman S. Le Roy has been elected business editor of the Crimson, in place of Mr. W. Sheafe, Jr., resigned.
THE Rev. Alexander McKenzie addressed the Society of the Christian Brethren last evening, at the society's rooms in College House.
MR. F. G. ATTWOOD'S series of illustrations, "Manners and Customs of Ye Harvard Student," are to be published in book form by Osgood & Co.
STUDENTS taking Philosophy I may be interested in knowing that a few copies of Malebranche can be had of F. W. Christern, 77 University Place, New York.
IT is rumored that the Freshmen are to start a Polo club in the spring. Their experience in the animals required will obviate the necessity of sending to Mexico for ponies.
THERE will be no reading in Italian by Mr. Norton next Tuesday, on account of the concert in Sanders Theatre. The next reading will finish Purgatory. Paradise will be begun after Christmas recess.
THE disturbance in the Yard Tuesday night was caused by a band of musicians accompanied by a numerous retinue of muckers attempting out of mere bravado to make a circuit of the College buildings. They did not succeed.
THE second concert will be given in Sanders Theatre, Tuesday evening, Dec. II. The following is the programme:
