The interest in the coming class tugs-of-war calls attention to the practice at Yale and other colleges, of having individual tugs, which have been highly successful, and interesting to spectators. Something of this kind could easily be inaugurated at Harvard which would, perhaps, increase the entertainment of the athletic meetings. In this way, some of our heavy-weight athletes might be given a chance to show their muscle and physical training, to the interest of all, and for their own gratification in event of success.
