EDITORS DAILY CRIMSON: - It has become a marked feature in one of the most important courses of Political Economy for certain men to raise all kinds of quibbles and side issues, which, in addition to the fact that they have no real bearing on the subject-matter of the hour, embarrass the instructor and take up the time of the class with needless discussion.

I feel assured that the men guilty of this sort of thing have acted as I have described, out of pure thoughtlessness, - at any rate, such is to be hoped - and with no intention of infringing upon the rights of their fellow students. But if, by some chance, their conduct is guided by other motives, - motives of an improper kind, it is well to let them know that college opinion justly condemns such acts as theirs, under the name of petty school-boy tricks.
