THE FRESHMAN GAME.

PURITANS, 13; HARVARD, '89, 6.

The freshmen played their first game of the season on the Union grounds, Boston, with the Puritans, a nine made up mostly of Harvard graduates. The freshmen lost from their inability to bat Luce, and through the heavy hitting of the Puritans.
