The Board of Overseers meet to-day, and it is expected that a result in regard to the chapel petitions will be reached. The length of time which the subject has now been before the board precludes all doubt that the decision reached will be a hasty, and so probably, a prejudiced one. The question of compulsory attendance at prayers has been so thoroughly discussed, that we cannot but feel that the action of the Overseers to-day will be one which is prompted by insight and true manhood, and will satisfy the most earnest wishes of the college.
