Favorable comment can be justly made on the performance of Sherrill, '89, on Saturday, in breaking the college record in the 220 yards dash, and the recent successful attempt of Harmar, '90, to break the Inter-Collegiate two mile record. It is apparent from the interest which has been shown in this branch of athletics this fall, and the success which attended the recent meeting of the association, our prospects for making a good showing at the Inter-Collegiate games next spring, are unusually bright. But; as has often been said before, it is only by continued hard and faithful work on the part of every man on the team that Yale can hope to win the cup next year. - Yale News.
