The Washington Alumni of Princeton have taken the initiative in an effort to raise enough money to erect a monument to the memory of ex President Maclean, aud have asked the other alumni associations to co-operate with them.
The ladies' programmes for the junior prominade at Yale are something entirely novel. They are made of "ivory" cloth, with the words "Yale '88,' in gold letters on the face. In the left hand corner there are delicate little sketches, each card having one of a different d sign, painted in oil by hand.
