The Conference Francaise.

The Conference Franchise is about to enter upon the third year of its existence. Last year was a most successful one in the history of the society. It had a membership of sixty, the majority of whom took an active interest in the literary and social advantages offered. A comedy was performed by the members in which they achieved marked success, the performance in every respect being far above the average amateur undertakings.

At all the meetings of the society French is spoken exclusively, thus giving men excellent practice in French conversation. All upperclassmen desiring to join the society, will please send their names to Mr. Charles Copeland, Secretary, No. 9 Plympton St., at the same time stating their knowledge of French. The names will be duly voted upon, and those elected will be officially notified. The society hopes to have its first regular meeting within the next ten days.
