Dr. R. W. Harrison, of Lowell, has been appointed lecturer on anatomy, assistant professor of veterinary surgery and medicine, and assistant surgeon in the newly created department of veterinary surgery and medicine in Harvard University. Dr. Harrison studied at the College of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in New York, from which he was graduated with the highest honors, carrying off a majority of the prizes offered on that occasion.
