The first meetings in the New England College Conference will be held tomorrow afternoon and evening an Association Hall, Boston. Reports from the various colleges indicate the largest conference ever held. Yale will send thirty delegates, Bowdoin twenty, Williams ten, and other colleges in like proportion. There will be speeches by prominent alumni and undergraduates.
The programme for tomorrow's exercises is as follows: The reception committee will be in the Association rooms from 2-3 in the afternoon to receive delegates. In the evening there will be an informal reception from 7 to 7 30; from 7.30-8.15. opening exercises, consisting of brief addresses by Mr. Derby, the president of the Association, and by President Warren of Boston University. From 8-15-9 Rev. Dr. Twitchell of Hartford, will address the meeting.
The meetings of the conference will be continued through Saturday and Sunday. All Harvard men will be cordially welcomed.
