The features of the tournament yesterday were the final singles between Huntington and Hurd of Yale, and in the doubles the matches between Huntington Brothers of Yale and Stevens and Post of Columbia. These matches were well contested but the playing not of the highest merit and there were few brilliant rallies. The summary of the games is as follows.
Singles (finals)-Huntington of Yale beat Hurd of Yale, 9-7, 7-5, 6-1.
Doubles - Hovey and Weeden of Brown beat Kingsley; and Manchester of Harvard, 6-2, 6-2. Huntington brothers of Yale beat Stevens and Post of Columbia, 11-9, 6-4. Campbell and Wright of Columbia beat Hovey and Weeden of Brown, 6-0, 6-1. Huntington Brothers of Yale beat Wright and Mallory of Trinity, 6-2, 6-2. Campbell and Wright of Columbia beat Parker Brothers of Yale, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2.
This leaves Huntington Brothers of Yale to contest with Campell and Wright of Columbia for first place in the doubles.
