The Cornell faculty nine beat the Zeta Psi nine of Cornell last Thursday. During commencement week the faculty nine will play the 'varsity nine.

Theodore B. Wanamaker has given one million dollars to Princeton, the income to be given annually as a prize to students performing the best work in English history and language.

The Yale News suggests that a baseball league be formed by the nines representing the freshman classes of Harvard, Yale and Princeton, and that each team play two or three games with the others.

Robert P. Bigelow, S. B., Harvard, '87, graduate student in biology in Johns Hopkins University '88-89, will occupy the Johns Hopkins University table at the laboratory of the United States fish commission at Woods Holl, Mass.

The Rutgers college students contributed $150 for the Pennsylvania sufferers. Cornell university collected $800 and a large number of the graduates of the College of Physicians and Surgeons offered their general services.
