Dr. Herford will speak in Sever 11 this evening, by special request, on "Some Differences between American and English Life." Dr. Herford's position in the community is sufficient to warrant an interesting conference, and he is eminently qualified to treat this subject, being an Englishman by birth and having spent many years in this country. This is the last time Dr. Herford will speak before the undergraduates, as his official connection with the college ends this week, and he returns next month to England. It is unfortunate that the conference comes on the same night as the Glee Club Concert, but the date was settled before the concert was announced, and it was impossible to change it. Nevertheless, the topic is one of unusual interest and the conference should be well attended.
