THE Harvard Shooting Club will hold a shoot for the Founders Cup this afternoon at 2.30. Men may join at the grounds on Soldiers Field.
HARVARD UNION.- New members must pay their initiation fee of $2.00 within a week, under penalty of suspension. Send check or call at 14 Little's.
HELCATS.- Practice on Norton's Field at 4 sharp today. Everybody be out.
CAMBRIDGE SOCIAL UNION.- A teacher is wanted for spelling and dictation. Apply at the Social Union Rooms, Brattle Square.

THE Weld four oared race announced on the 8th will be open for all members of the club. An entrance fee of $2 for each boat will be charged to cover the expense of the prizes. There are only six boats, which will be given to the first six crews to enter. The race will be one mile, on the 24th of November. 9 3
HARVARD ENGINEERING SOCIETY.- Meeting of Civil Engineering Section at 23 Hollis tonight at 7.45.
GOLF CLUB.- Members who have not received their shingles are requested to call at once at the CRIMSON office for them.
FENCING CLUB.- Professor Rondelle will be at the rooms Mondays and Fridays from 3 to 5. All men wishing to try for either the intercollegiate or junior teams are urged to begin lessons at once. Any member of the University who is not a member of the Fencing Club wishing to try for either team may take lessons in the club rooms on applying to A. F. Riggs, 44 Ware Hall.
ALL members of the University wishing to join the Harvard Athletic Association can do so at Thurston's or at 205 Craigie Hall, Mondays, 1.30-2.30. The fee is $5 for the whole college course. Freshmen are urged to join at once.
