Treasurer Farnum of Yale has submitted to the corporation his report for the fiscal year ending July 31, '92. The sum of $473,447.59 was added to the different funds during that period; the additions to the university funds amounted to $160,467.45, of which $150,241.59 came from the estate of the late Daniel B. Fayerweather in part payment of the legacy, and Rev. C. R. Palmer gave $5000 to found a scholarship fund. Additions to the theological school aggregated $57,043 and by the payment of part of the Fayerweather legacy the Sheffield Scientific School was enriched $75,120.78.
The Winchester Engineering Building received subscriptions amounting to $159,325 and the Yale infirmary $35,398. In order to repair the loss occasioned by the fire in Divinity Hall $6,497.52 was received, and $1500 was provided for the chair of Professor W. G. Summer during his absence in Europe.
