'VARSITY FOOTBALL.- The entire 'varsity football squad will meet next Thursday, Jan. 25, at 7.30 p. m., at 13 Bow street. Every member of the squad must be present.

B. G. WATERS.HARVARD FENCING CLUB.- There will be a smoker in the club-rooms, Tuesday evening, January 23, at 7.30 p. m.

JOHN A. GADE, Sec.THERE will be a meeting of the Chess and Whist Club this evening at 7.30 in D. U. Hall, corner of Brattle and Palmer streets. This is a very important meeting and it is earnestly hoped that a large number will come. The Yale Chess Club has challenged the Harvard Club for two correspondence games and this matter will come up for settlement.
