NEW HAVEN, Conn., Oct 5. - The afternoon matches in the intercollegiate tournament resulted as follows:
Foote and Chace of Yale beat Codman and Read of Harvard 10-8, 6-3.
Semi-finals: Foote and Chace of Yale beat Colby and Herrick of Princeton 6-1, 6-0. Talmage and Shaw of Yale beat Wrenn and Pier of Harvard 6-3, 6-0.
The finals in both singles and doubles will be played tomorrow, Chace of Yale and Budlong of Brown meeting in the former and the two Yale pairs in the latter.
