Mermaid Club.
An interesting meeting of the Mermaid Club was held last night. Professor Bocher addressed the members on the subject of the French drama. He spoke of Le Theatre Liore and of Symbolism, giving especial attention to Maeterlinck under the latter head.
The club now has eighteen members, and the weekly meetings are devoted alternately to the reading of French plays and to the hearing of papers or informal talks on special subjects.
