A meeting of the Chess and Whist Club was held last evening and these officers were elected for the coming year: President, Thorndike Spalding '95; vice-president, W. L. Van Kleeck '95; secretary, J. Hewins, Jr., '96; treasurer, G. S. T. Newell, Jr., '95.
