In response to Captain Clark's call for candidates for the cricket eleven thirteen men presented themselves. As all but two of these have had experience before, the prospects for a good team are bright. The candidates are as follows: F. Whitall '94 played at Haverford last year: R. Logan '97 has played in Philadelphia; A. P. Meade '97, E. Dupont '97, A. H. Parker '97 all played at St. Paul's School last year; J. B. Kenny Sp. Law, of last year's Wanderers of Canada; N. Bent '95, Woodman '95 and H. Edwards had some experience last year; E. R. Mathews '96, of last year's team, and Captain Clark.
In addition to these, P. H. Curtis '95 will come out in a week or two and E. H. Pool '95, captain of last year's eleven, and who is now rowing with his class crew, will begin practice after the class races. H. A. Curtis '96 and I. S. Adams, both of whom showed considerable ability last year, will also begin practice very soon.
