Although the course is primarily intended for instructors andto supplement courses given during the school year, it is also open to others seeking their personal improvement either by exercise or in learning to look after their physical welfare.
Changes and improvements have been made in the courses to keep pace with the rapid growth of the school. The instruction will be both theoretical and practical and will consist of lectures and practical talks on thirteen different subjects and sixty-four courses in physical exercise.
At this session special attention will be given in the study of Anthropometry to practice in plotting from Dr. Sargent's new charts which were on exhibition at the World's Fair. Opportunities will also be afforded for learning some of the most recent tests in experimental Physiology and Psychology. In the gymnasium work a special feature will be made of marching calisthenics, and exercises adapted to the use of public schools.
