The baseball nine left for New Haven yesterday afternoon to play Princeton, but did not receive as enthusiastic a send-off as it had last week. The team stayed all night at Hartford and will go on to New Haven this morning, The game will be called at three o'clock.
Owing to the unfortunate accident to Scannell, he will be unable to play today. However, he went with the nine to watch the game. O'Malley will catch and either R. Paine or Stevenson will play in right field. It was not decided which would fill the position before the team left.

The train for New Haven will leave this morning from the Boston and Albany depot at nine o'clock, and will arrive at New Haven at half past one. The return train leaves New Haven at 5.52 this afternoon. arriving in Boston about ten o'clock.
