Memorial to Dr. Peabody.
A committee has been formed from the alumni of Harvard to make arrangements for some suitable memorial to Rev. Dr. A. P. Peabody. Circulars will be sent to 12,000 or 13,000 Harvard graduates and it is expected that not less than $5,000 will be raised in this way.
Mr. Amory A. Lawrence is treasurer of the committee, which comprises: Francis W. Hunnewell '60, Boston; Charles C. Beaman '61, New York; James B. Ames '68, Cambridge; Austen G. Fox '69, New York; John F. Andrew '72, Boston; Edmund L. Baylies '79, New York; Gordon Dexter '87, Boston; and A. A. Lawrence '61, Boston.
