Mr. Watson is still negotiating with the Cornell authoritics concerning the Harvard-Cornell boat race to be rowed next spring. It is understood that the arrangements have been practically settled and that Mr. Watson is soon to put his report before the Athletic Committee for the assent of that body before final settlement.

There is also some talk of arranging an intercollegiate boat race in which all the colleges with crews will compete. As yet, however, there have been no steps taken in this matter.
