The regular meeting of the Freshman Debating Club was held in Sever 11 last night. The debate was on the question: "Resolved, That all bills passed by state legislatures should be submitted to popular vote." The principal disputants on the affirmative were W. M. Gardner, E. L. Logan and C. F. Regan; negative, S. J. Frost, C. T. Robertson and P. S. Gill.
The debate next Wednesday will be on the question: "Resolved, That intercollegiate football contests should be abolished."
