Professor Norton's Lecture.
Professor Charles Eliot Norton will give the first of his six lectures on Dante, this evening at 7.45 in Sanders Theatre. The subject of the lecture tonight will be, "The Function of Poetry; The Thirteenth Century in Italy."
For the benefit of those who may wish to do reading along the lines suggested by the lectures, Professor Norton has prepared some references. Those for the first lecture are printed in another column.
All of the lectures in this course will be open to the public.
