On Friday, March 29, at 7.30 p.m., the Wendell Phillips Club will debate the following subject in Harvard 1: Resolved, That the Action of the Harvard Faculty Regarding Intercollegiate Football is Justifiable. H. Whitmore '95, and H. F. Knight '96, will speak on the affirmative; W. S. Youngman '95, and C. B. White '96, will speak on the negative.
Candidates for membership are especially invited to speak at this meeting. Any member of the University speaking twice will have his name considered by the executive committee and on its recommendation may be elected by the club. After the debate an informal meeting with light refreshments will be held in Matthews 35 (lower floor) to which all members of the club are cordially invited.
The debate is open to the public.
