NEW HAVEN, CONN., March 27. - Captain Armstrong today made no fewer than four important changes in the 'varsity boat. He took Langford, a freshman who has been tried at several positions in the boat, and placed him at stroke; shifted Dater from 4 to 5; put Cross at 4, and placed Simpson, a substitute, at bow in place of Judd, who is unable to row, owing to a vaccinated arm. Changes in the crew are now being made daily. Captain Armstron coached the crew.
