The Yale Freshman Union at its regular meeting last Friday night passed resolutions accepting the challenge of the Harvard Freshman Debating Club for a debate. A committee of three was appointed to confer with the committee of the Harvard Freshman Debating Club to make final arrangements for the debate.
No arrangements have yet been made for choosing the speakers to represent the Harvard Freshman Debating Club, but the representatives will probably be chosen at a competitive debate. The judges will be members of the Faculty, and the competitors must be members of the Harvard Freshman Debating Club. The competitive debate will probably be held within six weeks. As soon as official notice is received from the Yale Freshman Union arrangements for the debate will be made.
