The annual winter meeting of the Yale Athletic Association will be held at the Yale Gymnasium on Friday evening, March 22. The following handicap events will be open to amateurs: 30 yards dash, 6 ft. limit; 35 yards hurdle (3 ft. hurdle) 2 yards limit; running high jump, 6 inches limit; pole vault, 12 inches limit; 16 Ib. shot, 6 ft. limit. Silver cups will be given to first and second in each event. The entrance fee for each event is 50 cents. Spiked shoes cannot be used. All entries will close on March 15.
The courses in Music which were begun this year at Yale under the charge of Professor Parker have proved very successful and popular.
Several students interested in music are making an effort to resuscitate the old Brown University brass band under the leadership of F. E. Horton '96.
