The candidates for the Yale University crew met in the Yale gymnasium last Saturday afternoon. There were fifteen men in all. The exercise consisted of a five mile run followed by calisthenics under Captain Ives.

Folger, 177; J. Howland, 157; F. H. Johnson, 166; T. I. Chatfield, 177; S. B. Ives (capt.), 176; A. L. Van Huyck, 168.
The average age of the crew is 20 years 5 months; the average weight is 168 8 pounds. The average weight of the present Harvard crew candidates is 172.3 pounds.
