Tennis Tournament.

At a meeting held last evening in Holworthy 12 by the tennis committee it was decided that M. D. Whitman '99 should represent Harvard at the intercollegiate tournament without competing in the tournament here, and that L. E. Ware '99 and W. M. Scudder '99 go to New Haven in the doubles. The matches to decide the other players in singles will begin this morning at 9.30 on Jarvis Field. The drawings have been made and resulted as follows:

Preliminary round.- J. D. Forbes '99 vs. H. Ward '00, 9.30 o'clock; H. J. Holt '98 vs. E. R. Marvin '99, 9.30; L. E. Ware '99 vs. R. McKittrick '99, 9.30.

First Round.- D. Davis 1900 vs. W. M. Scudder '99, 9.30; R. T Parke '98 vs. winner Forbes-Ward match, 2.30; H. Foster '98 vs. R. H. Carleton '98, 9.30.
