Among the fall publications of the Century Company is announced that of Professor Shaler's new book, "American Highways." It will be a practical book of about three hundred pages, containing a large number of illustrations and diagrams, and appealing to all persons interested in good roads. It is believed that the book will prove an invaluable aid in directing into effective channels the rising tide of interest in the condition of American highways.
