The annual fall tennis tournament for the championship of the University in singles and doubles will begin Monday, October 12.
First, second and consolation prizes will be given in singles, and first and second prizes in doubles. A large entry list in both events is earnestly desired.
All matches except the finals will be the best two out of three 'vantage sets, winners of first place in the doubles to play Ware and Scudder, holders, for the championship. Wright and Ditson's tennis balls will be furnished by the Association.
Entries may be made at Leavitt and Peirce's up to 6 p. m. Saturday, when the lists close. An entrance fee ($1 for singles; $2 for doubles) must accompany each entry.
