The Glee Club is to sing in the Yard tonight for the first time this year. Noisy enthusiasm is proper over an athletic victory but it is out of place during a concert of this kind or directly after it is over. Last year a great deal of annoyance was caused to men living on the Yard, who wished to study, by the blowing of horns and the shouting of men in front of the buildings. The result of a similar disturbance this year will probably be the stopping of the concerts by the College authorities. The singing of the Glee Club on the steps of Holworthy is one of the most prized of our student customs, and men should take care not to bring them into disfavor by noisy and absolutely unnecessary demonstrations.
