The enthusiastic meeting of Mott Haven candidates was more than satisfactory to those of us interested in the track team; and we are all interested in it to the extent at least of rejoicing at everything which will aid in developing a winning team.
The meeting was very interesting on account of the presence of so many graduates, famous athletes in their college days, who spoke. But the chief interest in the meeting is in the unusually large number of men it brought out to begin training for the team.
As the team begins its year's work we heartily wish the candidates and Captain Vincent favoring circumstances and final success.
