Union Trial.

The competitive trial debate for membership in the Harvard Union, held last night in Sever 11, was largely attended. In all, twenty-nine men spoke. The speaking, on the whole, was fairly energetic and showed careful preparation for such a comprehensive question.

Professor Cummings and Mr. Prescott acted as judges. The election will take place at the next business meeting.
