THE PENNSYLVANIA GAME.

Harvard's Chances of Winning Today are Doubtful.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

This afternoon, Harvard will play her last game of the season against Pennsylvania. From a comparison of scores, indications certainly point to Pennsylvania as the stronger team. However, there is one important factor to be considered before making a too hasty judgment as to the comparative strength of the two elevens-their process of development. Pennsylvania's policy this season has been to bring the team to its highest degree of perfection at the earliest possible date, a fact which has figured prominently in the rolling up of large scores at the beginning of the season, while Harvard's policy has been exactly the contrary. Taking this into consideration, it really seems that Harvard ought to stand an even chance of winning. The team has just reached its highest point in development and will be handicapped in a very small degree by the loss of two or three of the regular men, as the substitutes who will take their places are all capable of good football.

The line-up will probably be as follows:

HARVARD. U. OF P.

Cabot or Richardson, l. e. r. e., Hedges.

Wheeler, l. t. r. t., Outland.

Bouve, l. g. r. g., McCracken.

Doucette, c. c., Overfield.

Haskell, r. g. l. g., Hare.

Mills, r. t. l. t., Goodman.

Moulton, r. e. l. e., Boyle.

Garrison, q. b. q. b., Weeks.

Dibblee, l. h. b. r. h. b., Morice.

Warren or Parker, r. h. b. l. h. b., Jackson.

Haughton, f. b. f. b., Minds.

The officials will be as follows: Referee, Wyckoff, of Cornell; umpire, Beacham, of Cornell; timekeeper, Coughdon.
