‘The Architect of the Whole Plan’: Harvard Law Graduate Ken Chesebro’s Path to Jan. 6
At the meeting of the Athletic Committee in the Gymnasium trophy room, Wednesday night, the following committee was appointed to have special charge of the Trophy Room: Dr. A. C. Coolidge, F. R. Nourse '99, Geo. D. Marvin '99, J. F. Perkins '99, and another member to be added later.
The committee accepted the gift of a photograph of a famous eight-oar crew, of which Mr. Playford was stroke, on the Thames, and, in the distance, a twelve-oar crew probably the only one ever organized. Mr. Frederic Crowningshield '66, was the donor. The chairman of the Athletic Committee will be glad to hear suggestions as to the permanent place for the photograph.
The committee considered the relation of the Weld Boat Club to the Athletic Association and instructed the chairman to appoint a special committee to consider and report on the subject.
The committee also discussed the question of the overtraining of men and the method of preventing it, without arriving at a definite conclusion.
