The Freshman nine defeated Cambridge High and Latin School yesterday in a slow and uninteresting game. The Freshmen played loosely, but showed some improvement in batting.

Although Foster allowed only four hits to be made off him, his pitching was not up to the mark. Two chances for double plays were spoiled-one by Farrington and one by Lewis.
