The 'Varsity seemed to be completely demoralized in the practice game with the College nine yesterday afternoon, allowing themselves to be beaten by a score of 7-3. Haughton started in to pitch for the 'Varsity, but was knocked out of the box. Fitz, who took his place, held the College nine down well.

For the College nine, Cozzens pitched five innings and had the 'Varsity batters at his mercy. Gregory then went into the box and though a few hits were made off him, he did almost as well as his predecessor.

Good fielding on the part of the second team was a strong contrast throughout the game with the listless work of the 'Varsity.

The only remarkable play of the game was a home run by Vincent off Haughton. Chandler came the nearest to good fielding for his side.
