Sine the pamphlet was issued announcing the courses to be given this year in the Summer School, it has been decided to give an additional course in Descriptive Astronomy. Especial attention will be paid to the method of teaching astronomy to beginners. The subject will be developed from observations of the most obvious phenomena made with comparatively simple astronomical instruments, following the lines of a plan prepared for the "Committee on Admission Requirements."
In order that adequate provision of apparatus may be made, it is desired that all who intend to take this course give notice before June 1.
The course will not count toward the degree of A. B. or S. B. The fee will be $25.
