The College nine lost their second game to the North Shore Athletic Club at Clifton Saturday by a score of 6 to 5.

Gregory pitched a beautiful game and if he had had any kind of support the Harvard team would have won. Vincent, who has taken Litchfield's place at third, played very poorly, making six errors out of ten chances.

The College team braced up in the ninth inning after two men were out and scored three runs, on a base on balls and three hits by Holt, Norton and Foster. This tied the score but Vincent's wild throw in the last half enabled North Shore to score the winning run.

The score:

Innings: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

North Shore, 0 0 0 4 0 0 1 0 1-6

Harvard 2d, 0 0 0 0 1 0 1 0 3-5

Hits-Harvard 6, North Shore 5; errors-Harvard 12, North Shore 4.
