‘The Architect of the Whole Plan’: Harvard Law Graduate Ken Chesebro’s Path to Jan. 6
The work of the class crews comes to an end tomorrow when the annual class races are rowed over the two mile course in the basin. The men started work early in January and have been in strict training about six weeks. The greatest uncertainty prevails as to the outcome of the race. All four crews are well up to, if not above, the average, and all have worked hard and faithfully from the start. A great deal of praise is due to the coaches-Mr. Davis, Mr. Casey, and Mr. Storrow-for their work with the crews. Mr. Lehmann has from time to time given each of the crews the benefit of his coaching, and the general excellence of all four crews is due in no small measure to his superintendence.
The race will be rowed down stream andwill strart at 4.15 p. m. The '98 crew, winning the toss for position, has chosen the outside course. The other crews will start in the order of 1900, '99 and '97 on the inside, nearest the wall.
