The 'Varsity eleven lined up against the second eleven in the football practice on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon. The make up of the elevens was as follows:

'VARSITY. SECOND.

Cabot, l. e. r. e, Stoddard.

Lewis, l. e. r. e., Sands.

Wheeler, Swain, l. t. r. t., Littig.

Bouve, l. g. r. g., Boal.

Doucette, Burden, c., c., Hoague.

Shaw, r. g. l. g., Sargent '00.

Donald, r. t. l. t., Kingsbury.

Moulton, r. e. l. e., B. Davis, Robinson.

Cochrane, q. b. q. b., Macguire.

Dibblee, l. h. b. r. h. b., Gierasch.

Sullivan, r. h. b. l. h. b., Sanborn.

Haughton, f. b. f. b., Sawin, Munro.

The practice was snappy throughout. Haughton made several good runs behind rather ragged interference. Sawin distinguished himself by some clever dodging. Cochrane broke through and tackled well. Sanborn, M. S., who played on the second, did the best tackling of the afternoon. He was in every play, succeeding almost by his own efforts in holding the 'Varsity for downs.

The 'Varsity made one touchdown in the first half. In the second it forced the second eleven to make a safety. Capt. Cabot and Cochrane were bruised in the scrimmage.

The morning work was of the usual nature: The first and second eleven men took their strength tests during the forenoon.

The coaching yesterday was done chiefly by W. Cameron Forbes, W. H. Lewis and Guy Murchie. Hallowell '96, Emmons '95, Dunlop '97, and Gray '95, were on the field.
