At the final trial of the Sophomore Debating Club last night, P. A. Atherton, A. L. Becker, H. S. Bowers and W. M. Chadbourne were chosen to represent the club in the Freshman-Sophomore inter-club debate. The question debated was: "Resolved, That the President of the United States should be elected for a term of six years, and should be ineligible for reelection." F. C. Sutro '99, R. C. Bolling 1900 and J. A. Richards 1900 acted as judges. Although lacking in vigor the speaking was a great improvement over that of the first trial.
