Lacrosse Season Ended.

The lacrosse team ended its season Monday, in New York, on Berkeley Oval, where it defeated the Columbia team, 8-5. Rain fell throughout the game, making the field very slippery. Columbia started off with two goals, but soon Harvard pulled together, making five goals straight. The first half ended with Harvard 5 and Columbia 3. The last half was very closely contested, although Columbia weakened toward the end The work of the team this year has been better than its record would show. The team has played five match games. It has lost 3, tied 1, and won 1. The Crescent Athletic Club team which defeated it 11-3 is the strongest team in the United States.
