At a meeting held yesterday afternoon the University Debating Club decided to present pewter cups bearing an appropriate design to the members of the winning teams in the interclass debates, to the 1900 debaters who defeated the Y. M. C. A. Congress, and to the Freshman debaters who defeated Worcester.
The Yale debate has been postponed to March 30. Yale will present the question on February 16. The first trial will be on February 19, the second on February 23, and the final trial on March 1.
After the mid years and before the Yale debate trials there will be a meeting of all the debating clubs in the University, at which gold medals will be presented to the members of the team which defeated Princeton, and pewter cups to the members of the Senior and Freshman debating teams.
